Lower fuel cost. Cleaner combustion. No engine retrofit.
Published field study

nanO2 – Nabors East Texas

A land-rig program reported a 5% increase in fuel efficiency during 73 treated days.

Commercial objective

Reduce drilling fuel cost and emissions by improving the efficiency of the rig power-generation system.

Method

Fuel use and engine load were monitored using kWh per gallon as the key performance indicator. Changes in average load and the number of generators online were accounted for in the comparison.

Reported result

The published case study reports a 5% increase in fuel efficiency, 5,428 gallons of diesel avoided and an estimated 55.6 metric tons of CO2e avoided.
